...For anyone who doesn't know, Elijah Muhammad was the leader of the Nation of Islam prior to Louis Farrakhan's leadership of the group...Warithuddin Mohammed immediately succeeded Elijah Muhammad as the group's leader but he changed the group making it into "the World Community of Islam"...

Anyone who doesn't know who the Nation of Islam is can look them up online...

:)

According to his own "autobiography" (written by Alex Haley), Elijah Muhammad taught - more or less - that the White Man was the devil on earth. Malcom little bought into that philosophy, hook, line, and sinker. When he ultimately realized that Muhammad was a fraud, and that his religion was only tangentially related to Islam, he quickly abandoned those beliefs. Going to Mecca and seeing Muslims of all races and ethnicities brought him around further.

By the time he was murdered I think he had got his mind right, which was why he was murdered.

...so anyone's beliefs can change once they stop believing in someone?...Not that Elijah Muhammad is Jesus, but would this Bible scripture verify that people can stop believing in someone?:

John 6:66, KJV Bible: "From that time many of [Jesus'] disciples went back, and walked no more with him."

The people in this scripture having done this because something Jesus said offended them...

...interesting video if anyone is interested, Mr. X answers the question that is the subject of this thread himself in very plain words starting with a brief introduction at 16:04 of this video. :)

Peace.
