What percentage of the US Congress has read the Mueller Report?

"Rep. Justin Amash broke ranks with fellow Republicans when he said special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s report shows that President Trump took actions that 'meet the threshold for impeachment,' arguing that the stark partisan divide over the findings was because 'few members of Congress have read the report...'"

"So how many lawmakers actually read the entire 448-page, redacted report released on April 18?

"A Washington Post canvass of House and Senate members on the relevant committees — the Judiciary and Intelligence committees in both chambers — found most saying they have read the publicly released report in its entirety, but over 3 in 10 declined to respond to five yes-or-no questions after repeated contact attempts, offered unclear answers or said they have not read the full report."

Trump's refusal to provide evidence and witnesses to congress defies not only the rule of law but also basic Constitutional protections.

Understandably, a majority of Americans can't find the time to read all of Mueller's report (I haven't finished all the text much less footnotes), but, if it's true one-third of our elected representatives in congress haven't personally read its conclusions, then it is long past time to bring live CSPAN telecasts into the Trump Obstruction Swamp.

"WASHINGTON — Reps. Mary Gay Scanlon and Madeleine Dean, Pennsylvania Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee, called Tuesday for an impeachment inquiry against President Donald Trump, adding to momentum for a more aggressive approach toward the president...."

"'Congress has patiently tried to work within traditional means to get to the bottom of this extraordinary situation. But, we have reached an inflection point,' Scanlon said in her statement. 'The President’s refusal to produce evidence or permit witness testimony defies not only the rule of law but the basic protections of our Constitution. No one is above the rule of law. The time has come to start an impeachment inquiry because the American people deserve to know the truth and to have the opportunity to judge the gravity of the evidence and charges leveled against the President.'

"Dean labeled Trump 'a singularly amoral president.'

"'President Trump and his Administration have obstructed justice over and over again, leaving us no choice: We must open an impeachment inquiry into the President of the United States,' Dean said in a statement.

"They announced their stands on the day former White House counsel Don McGahn defied a subpoena to appear before the judiciary committee and face questions about Trump and potential obstruction of justice. Trump has vowed to fight all subpoenas from Democrats."

Republicans: "Treason and spying will be prosecuted without any evidence."

Democrats: "Only after we have seen all the evidence of everything EVER, we might decide some further investigation is warranted."

So if Trump decides to actually stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and take a shot at Schumer, he will face no consequences unless he misses or apologizes?
