On today's Meet the Press, Kristen Welker had Chuck Schumer on, and in listening to what he was saying about what's going on, I heard him talking about the American people "rising up"....

This should be repulsive to EVERY American....It sounded awful close to him saying that he would support, and that the American people should "rise up, from coast to coast"..... What can be done about these threats?

The problem is, in general, the bulk of Americans DON'T do idioms and they do literal. No offence, America is a bit of a retarded nation when it comes to literal/symbolic/idiom. Why? Possibly poor education standards and backwards culture.

You can't walk away when there are a thousand people in the street who won't let you past and when you try to steer away from them, they intentionally move to stay in front of you.

It's not whining, it's people exercising their right to not be inconvenienced by your grievances.
