Did Chuck Schumer just threaten a Civil War?

On today's Meet the Press, Kristen Welker had Chuck Schumer on, and in listening to what he was saying about what's going on, I heard him talking about the American people "rising up"....

This should be repulsive to EVERY American....It sounded awful close to him saying that he would support, and that the American people should "rise up, from coast to coast"..... What can be done about these threats?
The people do need to rise up. The crap Trump is doing is unconstitutional. This was no threat, nobody was threatening a civil war.

They rose up in that era due to a tax judged not right in a low tax nation. Today they would ruse up because they want more taxes on top of high taxes.
No. We want taxes paid fairly. It's unfair for a secretary to pay a higher rate than her millionaire boss. Higher taxes on the poor to benefit the rich is unfair.

The good thing about America is that when we fix it, and things are prosperous again, you're still allowed to benefit....
You mean when the next Democratic administration fixes it, as usual.

Protests can be inconvenient.

Deal with it.

No, people shouldn't have to deal with it. You have your protest away from people who don't want to be involved. Your right to protest ends when you "inconvenience" people who don't want to be a part of it.

Sorry, just because it makes you feel all giddy inside to block roads and make people mad, it doesn't make you right and it doesn't make it lawful.

But when your civil disobedience interferes in the lives of other people in any way, it stops being lawful.

You have the right to protest, but; you don't have the right to make other people listen
Civil disobedience is breaking civil law in most cases..... It's usually no incarceration penalty, and commonly a fine....if that.

First they came for the Communists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Communist
Then they came for the Socialists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Socialist
Then they came for the trade unionists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a trade unionist
Then they came for the Jews
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Jew
Then they came for me
And there was no one left
To speak out for me
