watch a Trump speech without media filter? Most of the things that are shocking them, we knew.
Trump is ok with same sex marriages
He wants to keep coverage for preexisting conditions
He wants to keep the 26 year coverage
He's not going to deport every illegal in the first month and maybe never

Facts do not matter to most of them and never have or will.

Sure, he supports all of Obama's policies but he is orange and has a "R" by his name.

Crucify him!!!

Yes, they should drop the mandate, and it should be up to each individual state how they run their health insurance.

I am also fond of the idea of allowing out of state providers to provide policies to open up competition. Since they've done that with car insurance, my car insurance is super cheap. People are going to choose the insurance providers that offer the best choices and prices, which will in turn help bring up the quality and competitiveness of insurance companies and also lower costs. When they allow just some insurance companies to service the entire state, then that is what you call a "monopoly." (well, kind of anyways).

Is he going to drop the mandate?
yeah that's gone. So, you might ask, where's the money to cover those with preexisting and the kids on parents' HC.

There is a provision in the Republican health care plan that has high risk insurance for those with pre-existing conditions.

I find it rather amusing to call someone who has reached the age or 21 a kid, let alone someone 26 years old. I guess Obama and Trump disagree with me, but that is what makes the world go around.

When I went to college I paid a small fee for a health insurance policy that paid for big things, like a broken arm. It was included in the tuition fees. We had a free Nurse's aid station on campus if you had a headache (read hangover), or needed a bandaid for a cut or an Ace bandage for a sprained ankle.

So that's the Trump plan. Good to know. (-:

But socialism only works if you force everyone to do the same thing.

The problem with society is freedom of choice.

Time to print more money.

What could possibly go wrong?

You apparently are a smart ass or stupid. That isn't the Trump plan, but it sure worked for me and thousands of college "kids" in my generation.

You forgot the wall is not going to be built in some places now.

Can’t wait to see the new position on tariffs and bringing jobs back…

Is he going to drop the mandate?

He hasn't said that, but the mandate is the very cornerstone of the ACA. Even with the mandate it has become a complete failure.

So he’s keeping two of the major landmark items of what you term a “complete failure”. Still happy you voted for him?

There are much better and cheaper solutions to insuring people with pre-existing condition and 26 year old "kids" than the ACA provided. At least I won't have to pay for a policy that insures me in case I get pregnant.

It was never planned to be built down the middle of the Rio Grande river.

No, I just note that Trump never touted his plan to cover the uninsured folks. The gop had a plan before 2004, that was enacted and didn't get the job done.

As for kids in college, it can be done, but again Trump never put forth any "ideas."

And as votto is addressing, Trump never addressed how to PAY FOR IT.
