This is a problem long in the making, and the solution may cause some short term pain, but give us long term benefit.

We need to control who we let into our country, plain and simple.

I don't disagree. The problem is, we try to keep everyone out, and then wonder why they find ways in.

You could end this problem by having a system of national ID and going after the rich white people who hire them.

We won't do that, because it's not about stopping immigration, it's about keeping the immigrant powerless.

It goes back to the "Last Amnesty evah" cycles from the previous decades.

No, it goes back to not reforming the system 20 years ago when they should have.

And we need to amend the Constitution to end birthright citizenship.

NObody had a problem with birthright citizenship when it was white people dropping babies here. Funny you have a problem with it now that it's brown people.

If we get rid of the Electoral College, the Senate, and put an upper age limit on Federal officials of 70, I'd be all for it.

Birthright citizenship is fine, though. It's not really the problem you think it is.

Until they are citizens they should be powerless.

We wouldn't, but we would get a firm version of the 2nd amendment and all other right wing goodies you would ***** about.
