He had a good run.

I can't believe the guy who is David Lee Roth today is the same sex symbol cool guy we all loved in the 80's. I hate those behind the scenes shows where they show the rise and fall of these guys. I don't like knowing privately he's insecure.

You didn’t love him and Van Halen when they were together? I’ve never met anyone who said they didn’t like jump. You didn’t like jump?
just because i might like jump doesnt mean i "loved" roth...i will take hagar any day over roth...

No way. Although, he did a great job taking over that iconic band. Van Halen struck gold twice and blew it because they are premadonas.

If it’s not fun, why do it if you have enough money you never have to worry about money ever again? I would only do what i loved doing.

Van Halen I & II were the best they did. After that it was pure shark jumping and MTV play.
It is always a shame to see a band fall into the corporate brand trap and create songs for quick sale than genuine creations.

One of my favorite rock albums is Van Halen I

Saw them twice in concert in the early eighties.
Awesome shows, Roth was like a wild animal on stage...
But Jump is the most overrated, overplayed junk song ever.
Atomic Punk
Take your Whiskey Home
Mean Street were some of my favorites.

Atomic Punk and Little Dreamer prolly my favorites.
It went downhill after that for me.
That was the true Van Halen before the money guys influenced them
