DHS has sent Google, Meta and other companies hundreds of subpoenas for information on accounts that track ICE

Really? And do you think that if they get the power & authority that you want them to have, that you may not be one of the people they or someone else with the same power & authority will go after? You don't mind these people whom have been caught lying about their activities again and again, rummaging around in your social media accounts?

Sorry, left wing terrorists do not get protection from subpoenas. Where were you when the FBI was spying on Trump and Catholic churches?

It's also going after people for exercising their first amendment rights.
It’s not going after anyone

People are free to exercise their first amendments right and the govt and for that matter any of us are free to listen to it and collect the information they make public

They don't need a subpoena for that - just like anything we post here is up for grabs for anyone who wants it.

They're not referring to things that are already in the public domain, they're talking about allegedly using a subpoena to access the information behind the accounts, simply because someone was not supportive of ICE or criticized them, according to the OP.

Time to roll up these left wing terror cells. Follow the money.

Hell, maybe DHS ought to do like Obumma and Biden and just show up with a warrent and seize their computer records. I bet these fcks put up a fight and resist turning over records or even try to destroy them.

Well I don't know if you're calling Pretti a domestic terrorist because Kristi Noem said he was or because you believe that he was. But no matter which case, he doesn't meet the legal definition of a domestic terrorist.
Sure he did

He used violence and threats of violence to coerce the govt in pursuit of his politic and ideological goals

No, you would still need a search warrant, signed by a judge that specifies what specifically may be searched for.

An administrative subpoena cannot compel a provider to disclose:
  • Direct messages
  • Inbox messages
  • Private group chats
  • Non-public posts
  • Photos stored privately
  • Drafts
  • ***Deleted communications stored by the provider
Those are “contents of communications” under § 2510(8) and require a search warrant supported by probable cause.
