Despite His Massive Tax Hike On The Middle Class, Trump's July Deficit Soars To $291 Billion

Sorry, you're busted, hypocrite.

June has a $27 billion surplus. You and kyzr and the rest of MAGA were all about giving credit to Trump.

Then July comes along with a MORE THAN TENFOLD DEFICIT, and suddenly it's Biden's fault again.

BWA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA!

Priceless.

.

If they take in money from tarrifs + DOGE savings and it comes off Obidens' spending gets yet you are unhappy? I am happy there was a month with some reductions of course. Maybe it was late TAX receipts? Maybe it always happens that month?

Pssst. MAGA gave credit to Trump for June's surplus.
Uh, becasue it was due to the increased tariffs revenues. Biden's June spending was shifted into May. But you knew that.
Also pssst. Much of the Big Bogus Bill is being spent right now. You have not noticed Trump bragging about that? Seriously?

ICE, defense, border security, etc.

Sorry. You're just going to have to eat that Big Beautiful $291 Deficit.
Actually, very little of the BBB spending is occurring now.

kyzr

A $27 billion surplus in June. A more than tenfold deficit in July.
You seem awfully quiet now, kyzr.
OMG, breath into a paper bag for a while. June was a $27b surplus, July was a $291b deficit.
We'll track August, September and the rest to see how the deficit is tracking.

1. Remember where we started, Biden had a $2T annual deficit, we'll see how Trump compares as the BBB and CAPEX spending and the tariffs kick in.

2. Don't spike the ball on the 10-yard line. Trump is better than you and Biden already, with 41-months to go....

Have you noticed kyzr has not come here to explain his catastrophically failed prediction for July.

You have all made it abundantly clear you follow Trump's direction. The credit for all good things goes to Trump. The blame for all bad things goes to Biden.

Hypocrites.

Yes. July's deficit was MORE THAN TEN TIMES June's surplus.

Exactly as I warned you would happen in the face of Trump's massive overspending bill.

It baffles me how you fools can stay so unbelievably blind. You actually convince yourselves he's not a big spender.

You did it all during his first term and beyond. And you are doing it now.

It's always someone else's fault. You are the actual Never Trumpers. It's Never Trump's fault. Ever.

Doubling the deficit before Covid? Never Trump.

Adding $8 trillion to the debt? Never Trump.

Adding another $3 trillion of debt in the BBB? Never Trump.

A $291 billion deficit in July? Never Trump.

That was the result of pandemic spending. Something Trump also did.

Trump increased the deficit EVERY YEAR of his first term.

But...Never Trump, right?

If you have to excuse Trump's massive overspending with, "B-b-b-b-but Democrats!", you've already lost.

Sorry, fool. Trump is already spending his BBB money, contributing to the deficit.

Nice try.

All that spending stimulates the economy -- and Congressional net worth

As I have said many times, massive goverment overspending is a way to artificially juice GDP.

Pure socialism.

Trump is one of the most socialist presidents we have had in a long time.
.

Donald Trump, with the cooperation of his submissive Republican Congress, gave himself and his cronies a big tax cut.

A tax cut has to be offset by either increasing taxes on other people, borrowing, or by cutting spending.

Despite his lies, Donald Trump has not cut spending.

He has, however, massively increased taxes on the middle class by way of his import tariffs which are paid by Americans, 97 percent of whom are small businesses.

Trump and MAGAs actually brag how much money his tax hikes are costing the middle class just so the rich can afford more yachts and crypto.

Unfortunately, even with the extra revenue taken off the backs of hardworking small business owners, it wasn't enough to cover Trump and the GOP's prolific overspending.

And now they have to also borrow on top of their tax hike on the middle class. It's so darned good Trump gave himself a tax break, though, amiright?

US deficit grows to $291 billion in July despite tariff revenue surge

US July budget deficit up 20% year-over-year despite record Trump tariff income

Twenty.

Percent.

Deficit.

Increase.

This kind of debt is choking the bond market, and the Fed is going to have to get very creative to keep feeding Trump and the GOPs debt monster. More on that later.

.

The USA still is in the Biden budget phase. Trumps starts on October 1st 2025.

.

Any nation that was even remotely interested in preventing things from spiraling to an inevitable revolution would have corrupt public officials arrest and jailed for life

Our Congress has devised a perfect scheme to drain the middle class and enrich themselves and their benefactors

The taxes, the spending still is using the Biden budget he signed in 2024.

Let me get this straight...Trump wants to cut spending and you on the left take him to court repeatedly to slow those cuts down to a crawl...then you turn around and say that he's at fault for not cutting spending like he should? Seriously?

I call total bullshit, if tariffs were really a tax you'd love them. Or is this a first in the history of the world, a tax liberals don't like?
tax cuts increase GDP which increases tax revenues.

Yes. July's deficit was MORE THAN TEN TIMES June's surplus.
Exactly as I warned you would happen in the face of Trump's massive overspending bill.
Trump's BBB cut $1.5T off Biden's 2024 budget, which had a $2T deficit.
Democrats overspend, Republicans are steering toward a balanced budget, keep watching.
Biden's last budget runs thru September, then the BBB kicks in.
It baffles me how you fools can stay so unbelievably blind. You actually convince yourselves he's not a big spender.

That $3T is over 10-years, its fictitious. CBO's analysis of the BBB was a net annual deficit of $380b
But CBO's assumptions are flawed.
1. Tariffs will easily cover that $380b annual deficit.
2. Add the DOGE $190b savings, if congress acts
3. Add $300b in savings as the Fed lowers interest rates each 1%
4. CBO assumed 1.8% GDP growth. Trump should easily get 3% GDP growth.
That was the result of pandemic spending. Something Trump also did.
Bullshit, the pandemic was over before Biden's policies and budgets got started.

Trump-45's term is long over. It's now Trump-47's term. Please stay current.
Trump-47 cut $1.5T off Biden's last budget, so there is no Trump overspending.

Or you got a salary raise, or you're literally lying.
No mfer, my annual raises are in January. Nothing changed im aware of, .09 net increase. Basically 1%...either my healthcare is now essentially zero or fed tax was reduced. Those are the only variables.

My State doesn't rob us like the communists do.

They also bring up the not yet used 2025 budget and totally ignore we are on the Biden budget including taxes and budget issues.

I was just looking at the US total debt. 105, going on 106 trillion Federal Reserve Notes.

Gawldam...

Let me get this straight...Trump wants to cut spending and you on the left take him to court repeatedly to slow those cuts down to a crawl...then you turn around and say that he's at fault for not cutting spending like he should? Seriously?
That's exactly what they do

What are these tax increases?

Got an example?

Well there's the over-chewed bubblegum tax...
A Special arm of the IRS has been established to determine whether or not people are getting too much value out of each piece of bubble gum.
Then there's the dog poop tax.

Turns out that dog poop is largely undigested dog food and therefore represents an enormous investment in wasted pet food expenditure.
Such frivolities cannot be ignored financially and therefore must be taxed by weight.

I highly recommend picking up a Chihuahua for a family pet at that point.
