Nah, Desantis is just yielding to public support for supporting democracy against Russian tranny, illegal attack, war crimes, etc in Putin's attempt to put the Soviet back together to threaten Europe and the free world, in his stepping stone approach. The rest of us knew what Russia was doing, the whole time, as it was the same as they always did. It is not like this was the first time. Ronny gets no credit for trying to jump on board now. He is just another man of bad judgement and political ambition.
