That’s the only thing that makes sense.Maybe because Sports illustrated is becoming more and more irrelevant every year - they did this to draw attention.

40 yard run. One of the best ever.He was a football player in the NFL ... one of the finest cornerbacks of his generation, if not all time ...
I would use the word grace ... at least as that word is used in the Bible ...
When Bob Knight went to Texas A &M - he completely turned their record around - the first year - with the same kids.I'm not going to throw the guy under the bus because of SI. They clearly did this to generate buzz. I've been a Deion fan since he was a two sport pro. He does a lot great charity work and even though Colorado collapsed, he's given the program some hope when they had none. Lighten up y'all!
The internet has helped the decline of magazines. And they are too expensive as newspapers are. Perhaps good deal on them is still available.Deon is the greatest two sport athlete of all time. No one has ever played to his level in two professional sports in history.
The bigger story is the decline of Sports Illustrated, now a mere shell of what it once was. I don't blame them for picking Deon though, no one else has really stood out this year in any sport like he has.
I guess I missed it, how did he do that? And the dude (typical of Deon) tried to blame the NCAA instead of himself falling short.
He lost players that transferred to other schools and blamed the NCCAI guess I missed it, how did he do that?
He said students who have committed to a college shouldn't be able to leave for another school.. but he was fine when he was the one recruiting.I guess I missed it, how did he do that?
I think it was more about fanfare and ticket sales than anything else.Deon had two QB's to Colorado recently decommit, so it looks like there might be rough sailing ahead.
Deon Sanders almost died from bloodclots....a side-effect of vaccines. That’s the only thing that makes sense.
I'm not seeing those comments by Deion anywhere. It's well known that he took FULL advantage of the transfer portal to bring in a ton of players which pissed off other coaches. Is it related to that?He said students who have committed to a college shouldn't be able to leave for another school.. but he was fine when he was the one recruiting.
I don't think Deon is coach material. Coaches are disciplinarians, exacting and demanding... Deon has none of those qualities and never did.
He was a great player with massive natural talents and athleticism, but no one would ever use the word disciplined to describe Deon Sanders.
A better example would be - say Payton Manning.

Did someone just defrost you from the 90's?DS was and is da bomb.

That is hope.
Losing just as bad is not hope.
