“Denmark has announced that people under the age of 18 are no longer allowed to get the COVID vaccine.

Children and adolescents only very rarely become seriously ill from COVID-19 with the omicron variant. Therefore, from July 1, 2022, it will no longer be possible for children and adolescents under the age of 18 to get the 1st [shot], and from September 1, 2022, it will no longer be possible to get the 2nd [shot],” reads a government statement. [translated from Danish]

Meanwhile, in the US; except for citizens, U.S. nationals, and U.S. lawful permanent residents - you have to show proof of vax to enter the US.

So, I guess if you are a Dane under 18 and you haven't been vaxxed yet, and you want to come to the US - you are shit out of luck.

Science.

Denmark is clued up about maturity of the human immune system and viral genomes.

'The researcher whom I was most interested to meet, however, was a Danish doctor, Anne-Grethe Poulsen from the Statens Seruminstitut in Copenhagen. Poulsen was the co-author of some very interesting seroepidemiological papers about HIV-2 infection in Guinea-Bissau, and had encountered a surprisingly high level of HIV-2 positivity in elderly people, including those in their seventies. (In this, she differed from Anders Naucler, who had not detected HIV-2 infection in Guinea-Bissans aged over sixty.)'
