Effectively putting private insurer's out of business. The insurance companies CAN'T cover 32 million people, many with pre-existing conditions and do it without raising insurance premiums on everyone else.
Obama care is akin to not having car insurance, totalling the car, then calling up your insurance company, getting insurance and expecting full payment on the totalled car. It's akin to not having home owner's insurance, your house burns to the ground, calling up an insurance agent and signing up, expecting them to pay for a new house. That's how stupid this bill was to begin with.
Now the dems are worried that insurance premiums will sky-rocket, of course they will. The people at the top of this Obama care knew it would all the time, they pushed it anyway. This new push to control costs will only put the insurance companies out of business and you will be forced onto a government plan.

Grace-Marie Turner, president of the Galen Institute, a research center that advocates free-market health policies, said the Democrats’ proposal was unlikely to succeed in lowering insurance costs.
“Capping premiums without recognizing the forces that are driving up costs would be like tightening the lid on a pressure cooker while the heat is being turned up,” Mrs. Turner said.
What a great quote and sooooooooooooooooooooooo true. LOL
