:banghead::banghead: :argue: :hellno: Right? Wasn't it both Reid and Obama who refused to either sign, or bring a bill to the Senate to help create millions of jobs during the Obama Recession years of 2009-2014? Wasn't it Obama who kept refusing to build the Keystone Pipeline that would of created thousands of jobs? And just think of all of the bills that were thrown at Reid for the first six or so years! Reid told the GOP to "GFY's" and never took them up for a vote being in many cases, they were intended to lower taxes, and then create millions of jobs.
And now Reid and Obama are complaining that the Senate are a bunch of {fill in the blank} cause they are going to block any Supreme Court Judge Nominee? :eusa_eh::eusa_hand::hellno:
Maybe the GOP should make a list of at least 50/60 demands before the nominate anyone!
Like Setting Bob McDonnell free and making Hillary bow out !!! :itsok:

It's one thing to disagree wh a bill , it's another to say "any bill sponsored by a republican will be vetoed !"

See the difference ?

If the Republicans don't mind being the Party of Obstruction, let them dig their own grave. The upcoming Dem Senate will just confirm whomever Hillary nominates.

Reich Wingers never look beyond the tips of their noses.

Merrick Garland has been approved by Republicans fairly recently for a district court position with no votes against him. So they already know who he is, and have supported him. So to make this a political issue is going to come back and bite hard.
Merrick Garland Has A Reputation Of Collegiality, Record Of Republican Support

Common HORSE Sense says confirm him as the next Supreme Court nominee, because you don't know if Republicans are going to win the White House, especially since there is a civil war going on within the party and 30-50% of the Republican party stating they won't vote for Trump.

A Hillary Clinton Presidency looks to be guaranteed.

But I don't think the Republican Party has a shred of common sense anymore.

I've heard republicans parrot that myth many times, they could never back it up with facts. Can you?

Wasn't it Obama who kept refusing to build the Keystone Pipeline that would of created thousands of jobs?

There are serious questions about how many good long term jobs that project would generate and if they would actually represent a positive when balanced against the negative environmental impact.
.(tax cuts)... they were intended to lower taxes, and then create millions of jobs
Jesus are you still a true believer in that whopper? Millions of your fellow repubs see it as the main weapon in the Oligarch's war on the Middle Class, the hoarding of the economy's gains unto themselves, and our standard of living remaining stagnant or declining for decades. Have you been away? You haven't seen the angry reaction to that blood sucking lie that is the casus belli for both the millions of suddenly awake public fueling this revolutionary Trump phenomenon and Bernie's impressive assault on the Democratic establishment?.

It's time to question everything we've been told by the power's that be for the last 30 yrs. Everything.

Biden and Reid taught 'em how to obstruct. Great teachers.........better students!
Living in the past doesn't get any Republicans elected this year. It's just campaign fodder and the Republicans seem determined to head out to pasture. :bye1:

So what?

So to make this a political issue is going to come back and bite hard.

It is a political issue
Either the Dems elect a new President to appoint a new justice, or the Republicans do.
That's politics.

If HRC wins in November, she can nominate anyone she likes.

An 8 justice Supreme Court is better than a justice Court. Tough cases should NOT be decided 5-4, particularly at such a divided time.

Hillary made a deal with Obama: if I stay out of jail, you and then Michelle will be my next 2 SCOTUS picks
