Democrats want families earning $500,000 to keep getting Obamacare subsidies!

Perhaps you’ve never seen a senior navigating Medicare open enrollment, but they tend to have a hell of a lot more options than the average person in an employer-sponsored plan.
It's pretty cut and dried. Medicare coverage is basic.
I think you're referring to Advantage plans. Each plan has several levels of coverage options each based on copays pretty much. It's can be confusing but there's a lot of consultants available.

Try what? You already got busted posting something that was fake.
Your ad hominem lying is of no interest to me.

Republicans rather shut down the government than allow millions of Americans to keep their healthcare coverage, That is well-documented:

The expiration of the enhanced tax credits will increase out-of-pocket premiums substantially and likely lead to millions of people dropping their coverage.

The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) estimates that, taken together, these changes will result in 16 million more uninsured people in the year 2034 than would otherwise be the case, including:

7.8 million more uninsured resulting from Medicaid changes in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA)
3.1 million more uninsured from OBBBA provisions affecting the ACA Marketplaces
900 thousand more uninsured from codifying the recent Trump Administration proposed rule on the ACA Marketplaces. This accounts for only half the effect of the proposed rule; the remaining 900 thousand people becoming uninsured are included in the effects of ACA provisions in the reconciliation package.
4.2 million more uninsured with the expiration of the enhanced premium tax credits, relative to an estimate of a permanent extension of those credits

That breaks down to about 32,000 per state over ten years. Figure out how many will work eighty hours a month, figure the fraud.

The Democrats created a 6.5% temporary rise in the income level during covid with a sunset provision for it....which will soon be here.
There's plenty of jobs offering HC if someone is interested.

So what did they do before the freebie?
Evidently life did not exist before the COVID subsidies.

That's an outright lie. The HC issue is slated to be addressed in the appropriations process after the CR is passed. It has nothing to do with the CR.

If you're a paid DNC agitator and spreader of misinformation and lies, you're not very good at it.

Do any of you Democrat Socialists crying about “people’s premiums will double!!!” realize just how extensive the temporary expansion of Ocare subsidies have been?!

A wealthy family of five earning $500,000 get $8,000 in subsidies a year. And a very affluent family of five earning $350,000 year get $21,000 a year. Did you all know that?

And why? Because Obamacare drove costs up so much that health insurance costs a family of five $50,000 a year!
This shows what an abject failure Obamacare is. Obama created a system so unaffordable that everyone needs government welfare to afford it. And that was by intent.

With a debt of $37 trillion, it is past time to stop the trillion dollars it costs to prop up this new welfare program. The subsidies should revert to pre-COVID levels.

(page 6 shows how families earning $500,000 get subsidies.)
I thought there was an income cutoff for tax credits. I wasnt aware that families making half a million a year were even eligible for any tax credits for ACA.

I would rather have my health care come from a government I can vote out if they don't deliver than an insurance company I have no say in.

So let's be clear on this. Obama WANTED a public option and a Medicare Buy-in for people over 55. That was shot down by the Republicans and Joe Lieberman (who only thought that Israelis deserve socialized medicine on the US taxpayers' dime, not Americans!)

Insurance subsidies were a Republican idea, which Obama went along with. And now you are complaining because poor people are getting stuff you think they shouldn't have.

I want all poor people to get Healthcare, even if its free, just not at the federal level. Let each state implement and manage their own public Healthcare system.

They all do, it's just Big Brother wants to help and pretty much takes it over.

Yeah, im not in favor of a federally managed Healthcare system. I dont see that in the cotus

Schumer has voted to shut down the funding resolution.

Dems lifted the cap on income in 2022 when they extended and enhanced the subsidies in the "Inflation Reduction Act" They also sunsetted the subsidies in Dec 2025. This is what they are shutting the government down over. That and health insurance for illegals.

When they did it they knew they could make a big issue out of it sunsetting.

There’s literally no way for a family of that income to get a marketplace subsidy.
