I used to have many back when we started writing obamacare plans, but the die hard Obama haters certainly loved their subsidies and the ones still alive today don't want to believe the current govt are changing many rules for this year and beyond that don't have to go through congress to change. There's a few more that no one has discussed on this board and most are too stupid to stay up with and since they would not believe me anyway I won't even talk about them. 2027 should be a hoot too and there are 4 or 5 rules held up by the courts that probably will be put in place either this year or first part of next year.

The ones in the forum who are on an individual plan are probably not going to come on here after Jan 1 and ***** as they will show how much they ******* lied leading up to the big surprise. I just have to laugh.

Well, my Obamacare plan was $900 a month, meaning almost $11,000 a year. (And remember, that was for a crappy plan with a $6k deductible.) So, multiply by five and you’re over $50,000 for the year.

LOL. That isnt how it works. If you had a family plan you'd know you dont pay by person. Your plan would cost about $23-27K for a family. No one i know is paying $50,000.

Your number makes sense to me, but the basis of this thread is that if you are high income and pay $50k for an insurance plan on obama care you could get some subsidies.

I'm not sure what could make a significant change outside of a full-on showdown. Perhaps with congressional Republicans, perhaps with the Supreme Court. Or both.

trump is doing things that are not popular even with a portion of his party. He is beyond concern about popularity. He's on a mission to bash and slash without regard for a semblance of civility, the law, or the centuries long traditions that have guided the country since the founding............and his devotees love it.
