That quote compelled me to compare and contrast the style of lying that Trump and Obama have engaged. Trump is a promoter and a salesman, some would call him a con artist. He says a lot of dumb things as well as a lot of things that aren't exactly truthful. However, his ''lies'' are easily disproved. He obviously doesn't put much thought into a lot of what he says. That is in stark contrast to Barack Obama. Obama was and is a very cold, calculating liar and the media just adored him.

I know a nice Mongolian family that wants to live in the U.S. They're financially broke. You should let them move in and live with you and YOU should provide for ALL of their needs. If you reject this proposal, you're a xenophobic, racist, Nazi bigot.

I'm inclined to believe that the bible is the word of God, but I have no way to KNOW that it is. I certainly concede to not being a biblical scholar. I do know that guys like you love to quote scripture without providing any context.

In any event, I DO believe that we have a creator and I DO believe that he wants us to be kind and loving to one another, in spite of the verses that you provided.

Up til about 10 or 15 years ago I was an Independent. Sometimes voted for Democrats, sometimes for Republicans, depending mostly on their voting history, and a little on their campaign promises. Then old age and its accompanying wisdom allowed me to see where the Democrats had been, where they were then, and forecast where they were headed. I began to vote less for them, and more for the Republicans. Not because I liked the shrill bible-thumping theocrats of that party, but because I liked the commies, socialists and leftards swelling the Democratic ranks even less. The more entrenched they became, the less policies of the Democrats I could find to agree with. The current 'face' of the Democratic Party (Bernie, Ocasio-Cortez, Omar, Pelosi, etc.), tells me I called it 10+ years ago with the deadeye accuracy of any successful futurist. The commie/socialist/globalist influx is either very near or past the tipping point in the DNC. Just as I foresaw it long ago, I suspect many Independents are finally waking up to see it now. I would not count on much support from centrists and moderates if I was you.
