Democrats Raise Prices Of Canned Food ANOTHER 30%

Maybe in a few months you should think about how you are getting fucked on can prices when the can costs more than what is in it.

This is pretty standard stuff. If another country tries to flood your country with unfairly cheap products, you put a tariff on them.

American companies cannot compete with companies that only pay $12 a week to their employees.

Should we let American companies go under?

I won't be getting fucked. I buy very few canned foods. We cook in this house. It is a handy thing. Better food. Better nutrition. And now it is cheaper.

But I guess if you want to protect China's canned food producers, go ahead and complain.

Well we do need to return to fair trade if there ever was such a thing, but to isolate ourselves as if we are in retreat isn't a good thing either. Trump was right on his trade thinking, otherwise let's right the wrongs, and then make it all work for everyone with law's and speed bumps enforced.

Isolation leads to wars.

Treating others the way they treat us is the first step to get to a level playing field.

Frankly, I prefer to not buy things from genocidal tyrants, but I'm just finicky that way.

Something no one has mentioned about this. It is in response to companies dumping tinplate metal on the US market at unfairly low prices.

So if the Biden administration did not respond, the same idiots would be screaming about him not protecting us from China (and German and Canada). If they put out tariffs, he is trying to starve Americans.

Didnt we use to make our own tin cans somewhere in Penn? Until the Marxists/Demofacists said it was too dirty and shouldnt be done in the United States but someplace where they could release a deadly disease upon US? Oh yeah.

How much money ya got for food?
Food you say?

Harvest Right food freeze dryer plus a good bit of freeze-dried food.

I don't plan on anyone coming to save me when the going gets really tough. I am taking action right now. I buy good, quality meat; add some spice and veggies; dry it in a freeze dryer; seal it in Mylar bags; and save it for a rainy day. This food has a 25-year shelf life.

The government isn't going to save us. The local church isn't going to save us. Our neighbors aren't going to save us. WE as individuals have to take immediate action in preparation for the plans the Globalist elite have for us. I don't plan on allowing them to force me into servitude through starvation. Others will most certainly disagree.

They still do make tins cans in the US. But China started undercutting the market by selling theirs cheaper. What do you think the workers make in tinplate foundry or factory? $5 a week? So they can send them here much cheaper. This tariff will level the playing field and keep the US producers in business.

How much you wanna bet they we don't have the manufacturing base to ramp up the cans we need?

Campbells, hormell, and del monte will lay off half their staff & run at half production creating a massive food shortage because of DEMOCRAT STUPIDITY!

It's as stupid as shutting down coal & gas fired power plants before we have the "green energy" to replace it with.

If the US plants cannot produce enough, they will buy the higher priced imports.

I have been buying freeze dried foods for a while now, since i am prior military and learned all about them on my deployments. When i read about the New World Order and their depopulation plan, i got serious about the future.

Oh yeah, have these also to keep my food.

With the Wigers of China who are slaves of the CCP, they dont have to pay anything except food and and place to stay, and this is how Socialist countries end up screwing their people. Why is it Joe Biden is still making trade deals with a country that owns slaves? Doesnt that bother you at all?

Any type of food and water preparation, storage, or stockpiling these days is a must, in my opinion. We know their plans, and we see them implementing them little by little, day by day, edict by edict. I like the Harvest Right because I can make my meals with the ingredients and spices that I like. I can choose the quality of the ingredients. But a freeze dryer isn't cheap. Pre-packaged, freeze-dried food will keep you alive in an emergency and they have a long shelf life. If they're out of the budget, then canned goods is the next best thing. Shorter shelf life, but if you rotate the cans and continue added to your stock then that's a whole lot better than nothing.

Feb 1, 2021 — China isn't even close to fulfilling its end of the deal. ... Trump's trade war on China was a failure in every possible way.
