I don't see how he can squirm out of a debate with Trump (assuming he's the GOP nominee) and still consider his candidacy legitimate. If anything, this will give the Republican Party and Trump ammunition to attribute this to Biden's age. If he's too old to debate; he's too old to serve another term as president and I think that's the message the voters will hear.

The debate terms are almost universally about as deep as a mud puddle anyway.

So long as establishment talking heads are dictating the terms of controversy during these so-called debates, they'll just be a waste of time.

I was hearing earlier on FOX News that Trump's lead over the other GOP candidates is an all-time historical high. Never has there been a Republican candidate that's had such a lead.

Can I help? There is no way in hell Biden's handlers are going to allow their Alzheimer's patient to take the stage with Trump. The guy can't get out a sentence without butchering it, and he has to be led to and from the podium 1) to make sure he doesn't fall and 2) to make sure he finds it.

Reducing spending is not really the problem. Creating more tax paying citizens is what we need to do. This can be accomplished by establishing a national living wage.

Well, you have to look at it two ways:

1. Biden is the underdog so he pretty much has to roll the dice and debate Trump. It is his only chance to beat Trump.

2. Biden will look like a fool debating Trump because he just isn't mentally with it. A Hail Mary in football would look like a sure thing compared to Biden debating Trump.

It ain't like most of us are unaware of who/what they're getting with either person and I don't think any debates are going to substantially change anything. If they do have one, I will not watch it because it'll be too painful and embarrassing that these two people are the best we can do to become the next president. Senile old man vs total asshat, what a choice.

2. Trump is an overbearing jerk and will come across as bullying an old man. Female voters don't like that, just like last time.

3. I think there's a fairly good chance that Biden drops out at some point, citing health reasons. I've been saying that for 2 years though.

What Trump should do is offer to help lead Biden to the mic and then off stage. Sort of be his escort. That will play well with the ladies. Show Trump is a considerate guy.
