It is the one party that is entrenched like a cancer here in California that has been running and controlling this High Speed Fail scam from the very beginning, swindling taxpayers out of hundreds of billions of dollars, and giving us nothing back in return for it. The very same corrupt party that you support.

Not one segment of track has been laid, not one piece of rolling stock ordered or acquired. At this point, no sane, rational person believes that this High Speed Fail system will ever carry so much as one paying passenger from anywhere to anywhere; yet the criminals who run this scam continue to steal from us.

The liberal "national strategy" for rail transportation is generally to ignore conservative run areas so that conservatives can subsidize the libs.

Amtrak has the vast majority of their trains in liberal places like New York City, Philadelphia PA and Washington DC.

Very few in Oklahoma or West Virginia or Alaska.

Coast Starlight at least 10 times and realize that ) the San Louis Obispo loop
By the prison is a real treacherous section but hey for Almost a trillion $ they can figure all that out lol

Yet amazingly we still have nationwide bus service that takes forever. The prices aren't that much cheaper than air travel. They may be now because of the spike in gas prices but I have priced both and the costs were like $40 bucks more for air travel.

They are working on high speed rail from Vegas to Victorville and it's not going to be an hour. Plus, you can fly to LA in 45 minutes and it's relatively cheap.

It won't even be close to an hour. You will be lucky if it makes it in an hour 45. And the horrendous cost is a huge waste. Far better to buy housing for the homeless, but the politicians can't skim nearly as much money off of housing as they can off this ridiculous project.
