It's not "ignorant" at all.

Obama's played by all the rules. Each and every one of them. He went to school, studied hard, got degrees, worked hard, ran for office, won and kept running.

He won his first term as President, not by a Supreme court case that took the guy who won the minority of votes and in a convoluted "one time emergency decision never to be used again" (their words not mine) and made him president, but by a majority of the popular and electoral votes. Then he advocated for a law. Got it through two houses of congress, where upon it was challenged in the Supreme court. They WON that case..and the REPUBLICANS made it a central theme of the 2012 campaign. Obama WON AGAIN. Now after 42, count em, 42 attempts to repeal it, the REPUBLICANS use a wholly unique take on a Constitutional procedure and map funding, which has ALREADY been appropriated to the raising of the debt ceiling, which, by the way, is NOT in the Constitution.

Republicans own this..completely.

What happened was Obama capitulated to everything the Republicans wanted in return for keeping the government open and allowing Bush tax cuts to sunset. Even then, they didn't completely sunset, some were kept permanent.

The Sequester was put into place because, without it? Republicans would have never signed on to raising the debt ceiling. Boehner states quite plainly they got everything they wanted. And it was Republicans that allowed the Sequester to take place. By the way, they've been slowly restoring the military cuts.

In any case, you'd have a point if you stated that Obama never should have went for this, and fought the battle back then.
