Interesting video of a House Banking and Finance Committee hearing from 2004. The balls of these lying ass Democrats like Pelosi to turn around and try to lay this one on Republicans. These Democrats were engaged in a "shoot the messenger" outrage in this hearing because the regulators came to Congress asking they do something to get these institutions under control. Instead they attacked the regulators and PRAISED the financial rape Reins was carrying out at Fannie Mae -the SAME guy who is now Obama's top economic advisor. If Pelosi does another lying schpiel before the next House vote, perhaps the Minority Leader can respond by just showing this video and then sitting down without saying a word. Even Clinton was blunt about who blocked every attempt to reform regulation of these institutions. Congressional members of his own party.
