The man who allegedly fatally struck Cayler Ellingson after calling him a "Republican extremist" is no longer in custody after posting a $50,000 bond.

Shannon Brandt ran over an 18 year old teen with his car because he thought he was an extremist MAGA Republican, the kind Joe Biden says is the biggest threat to the universe and who would no doubt take away all our rights if given the chance.

Poor Shannon was just doing what Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton, who says these people are Hitler incarnate, are telling him to do.

But the white systemically racist supremacist police thought otherwise and arrested him.

Well, first, they had an argument and then the dude hit the kid with his car, at 2:35 am. He was also found to be intoxicated when he was arrested by the police.

Basically, this was someone who was drunk and stupid who didn't like the politics of someone who they argued with, so they ran them over while drunk.

Politics may play a small part in this, but only for people looking to use this against the other side. In reality, it was someone drunk and stupid who got pissed and ran someone over because they were pissed and drunk.

Brandt admitted to hitting Ellingson with his car at 2:35 a.m. in McHenry, N.D., after the two had a “political argument.” Ellingson allegedly went to call his mom after the argument, but Brandt thought he was calling for people to come “get him.”

Brandt had initially fled the scene, but then reported the incident to the police himself, saying he hit Ellingson because he thought he was part of a “Republican extremist group.” Police said he was intoxicated at the time of the incident.

Ellingson suffered serious injuries and later died at the hospital.

Brandt was charged with vehicular homicide and leaving the scene of a fatal accident.

It helps to read the whole story, instead of just cherry picking parts of it to try to make a political point. Bottom line, this was a drunk that got into a disagreement and decided to use his car as a weapon. He probably said the kid was a Republican extremist, hoping to mitigate his crime a bit, but no, this was a drunk who ran over and killed a young adult over a disagreement.
