Freed without supervision: 14-year-old charged with Argyle Red Line shooting is freed without supervision


The 14-year-old boy charged with Monday’s double-shootingat the Argyle Red Line station was released without supervision by a judge after an initial hearing today in juvenile court.

A spokesperson for Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx told CWBChicago this afternoon that “we requested the minor be held in custody [but] Court made the finding that under the law, the minor must be released because he was held in custody for 42 hours by the Chicago Police Department and was not brought before a judicial officer within 24 hours.”

Prosecutors asked Judge Linda Pauel to put the teen on electronic monitoring if he was going to be released, but she denied the request.

You know, if Obama had a son, it would look like the 14 year old shooter.

He would look like yours also if you had a son.Yet if he ever was thrown in jail and held without a hearing within the time limit then he would be released such as this fellow is.
