are one of the strongest allies with Progressives for prison, immigration and worker Reforms.

This issue has come up before in the Houston Peace and Justice community.
The Liberals for prison reform and against the Death Penalty have been able
to work in partnership with MANY Catholic clergy and members to address
the "dehumanizing" mentality behind War and Capital Punishment and
collective abuse and oppression of "poor masses" seen and treated as faceless nameless and voiceless.

the LIBERAL Christians on the Left have no problem aligning with Liberals on common issues.

What is MISSING is the knowledge and practice of Christian Spiritual Healing
that would not only end the drug addictions and abuse fueling the Drug Wars
(that incidentally is uniting both Left and Right on that cause despite divisions over immigration)
but would also reform the entire prison system, medical and mental health system
by drastically cutting the cost of criminal disorders and corrections and allow
effective rehab, recovery and meaningful social and financial restitution for crimes.

It seems the issue of drug and human trafficking that is victimizing poor people
may be the key to uniting Left and Right. And the solution to ending abuse and
addiction is the very Spiritual Healing that Christians and even Catholics are supposed to be teaching and practicing.

This knowledge has been suppressed, censored, and denied
by rejection of Christianity particularly by the Left that has no understanding of it.

Somewhere in there is the key to breaking through this deadlock dividing left and right
and uniting people on common solutions instead of fighting to blame each other for problems!

The first 11 chapters of Genesis is the allegorical account of world history that every nation shares. Sprinkled in were wisdoms. These accounts had been passed down orally from generation to generation for thousands of years until they were eventually recorded in writing. Seen in this light these accounts should be viewed less like fairy tales and more like how important information was passed down in ancient times. Just as the Chinese used well known history and everyday things as symbols in their written language to make words easier to remember, ancient man used stories to pass down historical events and important knowledge to future generations. We have to keep in mind that these accounts are 6,000 years old and were passed down orally from one generation to the next for thousands of years. Surely ancient man believed these accounts were of the utmost importance otherwise they would not have been passed down for thousands of years before they were recorded in writing. Suffice it to say, ancient man believed that the material world was created by spirit and that man was a product of that creation. The account of Adam and Eve is the allegorical account of when mankind became conscious of himself, his surrounding and his Creator. Lost in all the critical evaluations is that the fall from grace tells us maybe the single most important thing about man that we should know which is man knows right from wrong and when he violates it, rather than abandoning the concept of right and wrong he rationalizes he didn't do wrong.

That's not the only way to understand Jesus.

I have plenty of atheist / nontheist friends who understand the
concept of Universal Peace and Justice and "Restorative Justice"
as the secular equivalent of faith in Christ Jesus saving "all humanity."

I find if we focus on RESTORATIVE JUSTICE we unite people in Christ as neighbors.

For BELIEVERS, yes, if we are not "for him" then we are "against him."
But for secular gentiles, as long as these are "not against" him then they are "for him."

There are many secular gentiles who receive Christ "indirectly" by receiving and respecting Christians.
That is all it takes to allow "agreement in Christ" that we forgive and receive one another.

We don't all have to believe the same things,
we don't have to believe in a personified God that created everything,
we don't have to believe in a personified Jesus.

As long as we agree to FORGIVE AND RECEIVE one another
we can still embody and agree in the spirit of Restorative Justice.

What I will say, it does help with this forgiveness process that
people do RECEIVE and NOT REJECT the spirit, meaning and message of Christ Jesus.

As long as we are not "against him" then Christ Jesus and Restorative Justice can still work.
As long as we are not "against God's truth" then other people can still teach it.

Just not reject each other.
So the Christian believers have as much work to do to
forgive and receive in order to stop the mutual rejection
that prevents fuller inception and reception of the meaning and message
of Christ Jesus which is the same as universal Justice and Peace,
Justice with Mercy, Restorative Justice, and Equal Justice under Law.

ding I hope you will unite and stand with other Catholics and
liberals pushing to replace the death penalty and harsh drug war/prison policies
with more Restorative Justice measures that will allow corrections and restitution
which the Catholic Church teaches as more effective than capital punishment.

If we unite behind the teachings that Christ Jesus MEANS "Restorative Justice"
we might better work together to achieve this common goal and vision for humanity sake.

The first five books of the Bible (known as the Torah) were written by Moses - an adopted son of the king of Egypt - in approximately 1400 B.C.. These five books focus on the beginning of the nation of Israel; but the first 11 chapters of the Torah records the history that all nations have in common. These allegorical accounts of the history of the world had been passed down from generation to generation orally for thousands of years. Moses did not write the first 11 chapters of the Bible. Moses was the first Hebrew to record them.

Approximately 1500 years before Moses recorded the allegorical accounts of the history of the world. The Chinese recorded this history as symbols in the Chinese language. They drew pictures to express words or ideas. Simple pictures were combined to make more complex thoughts. They used well known history and common everyday things to make a word so people could easily remember it. The account of Genesis found it's way into the Chinese written language because the Chinese had migrated from the cradle of civilization. Prior to this migration they all shared a common history and religion.

The Bible even explains how it was possible for the Chinese to record the account of Genesis 1500 years before Moses recorded it. The account of the Tower of Babel was the allegorical account of the great migration from Mesopotamia. This also explains why all ancient cultures have an account of a great flood. Because they all shared a common history and religion before the great migration from the cradle of civilization.
