Democrats shut down their states for years. Trump shut it down for 8 weeks. Biden drove up energy costs which increased food costs

How many years were Democrat states closed fer years...Considering there is no such thing as a Democrat state, there are states that are run by Democrats.

Trump was simply following the advice of Anthony Fauci...a mistake that he realized too late. Again...it was each State's Governor that made the call on how they would implement shut downs. If you want to blame someone FOR those shut downs then the proper place to put blame or credit is with those individual Governors!

Trump's figured out that "long time" government employees aren't the answer to solving problems! The first time around he listened to Fauci. Now he knows better. If you want to fix a bloated, inefficient government you don't do it with career Civil Servants. You bring in people from the Private Sector. People who get things done.

You do realize that Trump DIDN'T shut down the US during the pandemic? He left shut downs up to individual State Governors. Some States didn't shut down at all. Some States stayed locked down for draconian lengths of time. Guess which Party was running which of those States?

Utah hardly shut down at all.

The Democrats official X account posted a chart featuring US grocery inflation. The intent was to show the public that prices had reached record highs in 2025 under the Trump Administration; however, the graphic actually revealed the culprit for the rise in food prices.
Grocery prices skyrocketed in 2021, a year into the pandemic. Supply chain shortages were abundant, shipping docks were at a standstill, and countless food producers were forced to shutter their businesses to adhere to social distancing guidelines. World trade temporarily halted. We then had the Ukraine war breakout in 2022, disrupting Europe’s bread basket. Poor weather conditions resulted in low harvests, and a series of diseases spread to livestock and poultry. Every nation experienced a rise in food prices following the disastrous policies set forth in 2020, with most feeling the inflationary shocks starting in 2021.
Food-at-home groceries rose 24% from January 2020 to January 2023. Grocery prices surged 25.8% by March 2024 and did not experience a downturn until April 2024 when prices dropped a mere -0.2% on the monthly. Grocery prices rose 22% to 25% under Biden’s presidency. “Prices are higher today than they were in July 2024, all in major categories listed below,” read the caption on the since-deleted graphic posted by the Democrat’s X account. If anyone cared to look, they would have seen that prices have fallen relatively flat under Trump, whereas they were skyrocketing under Biden.


Commentary:
In sum; The culprit for Food Inflation = Democrats...
More pointedly under the leadership of Joe Biden and Peter Buttigeig... the result, abundant supply chain shortages, shipping docks at a standstill, and countless food producers were forced to shutter their businesses.
And let's not forget the draconian California laws restricting trucking from out of state.
People are forgetting that the root cause of the increased food prices today is due to the Biden-Harris-Buttigieg administration's failure to manage the supply chain back in 2022.
Remember, the fallout from the botched supply chain backup resulted in rail companies declaring force majeure and canceling transport contracts for grains and feedstocks to farmers. This forced farmers to dump milk, and eventually slaughter their chickens and livestock because they couldn't feed them. The rail companies had to prioritize their rolling stock to help alleviate the backlogs at the west coast shipping ports and transport those goods across the country.
We're now seeing the prices of milk, cheese, eggs, ground beef, bacon, bread, and other farm products rise because it takes years to recover from the slaughter of herds of beef livestock, milking cows, pigs, chickens, and the loss of the resulting dairy and meat byproducts.

Yep....got scamdemic written all over it
