We'll see what kind of a bump Harris/Walz gets later, and if it's good and long lasting -- Trump will go completely off the rails and take Vance with him.

Some Republicans will take center stage at the Democratic convention.


The Democratic National Convention is expected to feature speeches from at least three Republicans, with a Republican hosting the convention’s second night, as Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign seeks to highlight opposition to Donald J. Trump from within his own party.

Former Representative Adam Kinzinger of Illinois, who swept into Congress as part of the Tea Party wave of 2010 and then became one of the most vocal Republican opponents of Mr. Trump, then the president, after the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol, will speak later in the week, according to a Republicans for Harris campaign official.

Ana Navarro, a Republican co-host of the “The View” on ABC who has criticized Mr. Trump for years, will host the convention’s prime-time events on Tuesday, according to the Democratic National Convention Committee.

And Rich Logis, a former pro-Trump pundit, will address the convention in a taped speech on Monday night, according to the Harris campaign. More Republican speakers will be announced on Tuesday, according to the convention committee.

Geoff Duncan, a Republican who was the lieutenant governor of Georgia when Mr. Trump sought to overturn the 2020 election result there, said in a phone call on Monday that he would also be in Chicago for the convention, but declined to say if he would deliver an address.

Mr. Logis, a co-chairman of Republicans for Harris in Florida, volunteered for Mr. Trump’s 2016 campaign. But he said he ultimately broke with Mr. Trump over his managing of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Jan. 6 attack and Republicans’ opposition to gun control.

Mr. Logis said in an interview that his high-profile role at the convention showed that Democrats understood “unlikely” alliances were needed for the country to “move on from Trump.”

In his taped speech, he will say, “You don’t need to agree with everything you hear tonight to do what is right,” according to the Harris campaign. “We need to be able to trust our leaders.”

"More than 1,000 protesters are marching down Washington Boulevard in Chicago toward the United Center, though they aren’t allowed to enter the security perimeter that surrounds the convention. They plan to march within “sight and sound” of the building."

But I'm sure FOX News and the MAGA Noise Machine will have this being the protest of the century.

"Organizers of this protest had said they expected tens of thousands of people to join in, but the actual number appears to be in the low thousands. So far, there have been only a very small number of counterprotesters, and I have seen no violence between groups or between protesters and the large number of police officers here."

The U.S. Citizenship Act of 2021 would:

1. Provide an earned pathway to citizenship for the U.S. undocumented
population.

• Establish an expedited path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants who
were brought to the U.S. as children (Dreamers), holders of Temporary Protected
Status (TPS), and undocumented immigrant farmworkers. Individuals in these
categories would all be eligible for green cards immediately provided they meet
certain requirements.

• Provide Lawful Prospective Immigrant (LPI) status...immigrants would have
access to a green card and lawful permanent residence, as long as they meet certain
requirements including passing a background check and paying any outstanding
back taxes. After three years on a green card, these individuals would be able to apply
for citizenship.


Establish a border management approach to migration at our southern
border that focuses on the use of new technology and addressing the root
causes of migration.

Direct DHS to create a plan for the effective use of new technologies and
infrastructure at the border, focusing attention on ports of entry where the majority
of drugs and illicit materials are smuggled. Also, the bill would establish new
penalties and an increase in prosecutions for cartels and smuggling networks.

Truth is its all over but the actual voting itself. And now that my curiosity is satisfied...kinda over it already as it gets tiring.
And considering the source it might be propaganda or it might not....dunno anymore because Harris is not the most asute or sober of individuals and one of those extremist left wingers might be wanting this policy. And get away with it just like the extremists got several over on Biden.

The MEDIA is going to drive this bus until the wheels come off on election night. They are going to play it off as if it's a nail biter all the way to the finish line. (No viewers and they go broke)
Truth is something else. Now even though this poll definitely leans strongly left....some of the poll results are startling. Trump at 267 means its likely going to be a blowout at the electoral College with even VA going to Trump. (GA in most other polls is definitely in Trump's camp and PA is still held onto by Trump....despite the wishes of many)

But at some point Harris has to publish this non-existent platform....waiting for the official version. It's been shrouded in a cloak of mystery up to this point. So....gonna be interesting to see Trump attack it poorly with nonsense, Kamala off script and blathering like a wine mom needing her nap, and everyone clai.ing victory regardless.
