Now that you mention it, I grew up in a Baptist church that would today be called evnagelical. The preacher preached against sin constantly. But I never remember him mentioning a public personality.

He addressed all admonishments against sin to the members of the congregation and to himself. Even t hough I stopped going as soon as I was old enough to decide, I respected that sincerity.

DHS requested jets with a claim that owning their own jets would be cheaper than chartering all those flights for deportations. They claimed a savings of two hundred seventy nine million dollars. as far as I know, they did not even mention the reduced carbon footprint, which I thought was something democrats and not democrats were always interested in.

Is it waste or abuse to set aside one of the jets for executive travel? I would not argue if that is your point.

Are senior people in the executive agencies granted privileges that they sometimes modify into what could fairly be called extravagant, wasteful and abusive privileges?

Sure.

If you want to rail against that, you've had plenty of opportunities in the last few decades and especially since you have signed on to this board.

Instead, you are mighty selective, waiting all this time to reel against Kristi Noem, who gets under your skin for some reason.

The heart of Christianity is knowing, and understanding and embracing, that you are a sinner with no salvation apart from Jesus Christ.

A congregation full of folks like that don't have much time or inclination for judging everyone else, especially on sins like "microaggressions"
