What has all the trumpies confused is that this is a matter of adhering to the Constitution, the North Star for anybody claiming to be an American patriot. EVERYBODY in this country is entitled to "due process." Not only was that denied to Abrego-Garcia. It wouldn't matter if he were a mass murderer caught doing his deeds on videotape. He still is entitled to "due process." Not only did he not get due process, trump has defied and shown contempt for the Judicial Branch and Separation of Powers, another fundamental principle for anyone claiming to be an American patriot. It doesn't matter how many scary stories make the front page of the NY Post, or how frightened anybody is, the Constitution is the Supreme Law of the Land. You are either an American patriot supporting the Constitution and the rule of law or, out of uncontrollable fear, you support trump's fascism. You cannot be or do both.
