All tragically sad events, and those responsible should be punished to the full extent of the law, but many or most targeted by ICE have no reason to believe they would ever commit such crimes. Punishing innocent people doesn't help those victims or their families.

I’m a family man….. I’m even a Maryland Dad. But, if I violate immigration laws in any country, my family man status is only going so far.

If they are illegal aliens, hanging around/living around violent criminal illegal aliens, they have nothing to complain about. ICE doesn't go around chasing normal illegal aliens, but when caught, they are subject to deportation just like violent criminal illegal aliens.
