Sadly cops are seemingly only political pawns for the left. Until one died at the capital they had no use for them.

There are times when it's a good idea and there are times when it isn't. A party that is getting too rowdy next door? Send some mediators out there first and have them tell the revelers that the police will be the next responders. You really don't need a cop for every matter.

It's called Police Consent Decree and it works. And no cops get fired other than the bad one. No defunding. And the Community lends it's support to law and order. Bush, Jr started it, Obama expanded on it,Rump ignored it and now Biden is going to reinstate it.

They sent a social worker out with a sheriff who was serving an eviction notice some years ago. Both shot dead on the doorstep. Let's send more social workers--we have too many anyway.

Are you going to put your life at risk knowing that if you are wrong only once about whether a policeman will be needed someone is sure to die, or are you only willing to put others lives at risk? Asking for a friend.

Well let me say this about that.

If the address at 1234 Main Street is known to be a bad area of town....known to have an ex convict living there....or this is like the third time this week there has been a disturbance there, you probably shouldn't send a mediator.

If the address at 1234 Main Street is not known to be a bad area of town...not known to have an ex convict living there...and has not been the site of any recent distrubances...you can probably send a meditator if the complaint is that a party is out of hand. If there are reported gunshots? No.
