I am an anti-Trump leftist, but the reality is that Trump was reducing the deficit until covid, and we are not at all reducing the deficit due to the foolish money we are pouring into the Ukraine.

Trump didn't pass ANYTHING that reduced defict, on the contrary, his policy directly lead to expansion of spending and revenue reduction. Deficits increased every year under Trump and we hit 1 Trillion dollar deficit even before Covid.
