The dominance of the Republican party in the South and the lack of competition has allowed the South to stagnate. It is time for a new message. It is time for the South to leave its past and move toward a positive future. Its time for Democrats to forget identity politics and send a message of opportunity for all because the facts show that the decades of Republican rule in Red states has placed those states at the bottom. It is time for change. It is time for a Red state revolution. It is time for the Red states to realize what Republican rule has done for them and to move out of their past. It is time for Red states to get rid of the Republicans who have been keeping them down and dependent.

This election cycle has revealed that red states are starting to realize this, mainly the young who no longer want the policies of hatred, ignorance, and division.

Never understood why red staters always voted against their own best interest election after election? Just can't or won't pull the lever for anyone who has a "D" next to their name. Eventually with a shift in demographics and the slow siphoning off of baby boomers, that will change.

Bullshit

Boeing to move 787 production to South Carolina in 2021

Daily Kos opinion piece.

If Blue states are so awesome why are so many people leaving?

That won't be changing any time soon. These people are absolutely terrified of Democrats, and they're fed misinformation every hour of every day to reinforce it. That kind of intense paranoia can last decades.

They voted D for decades out of Pavlovian response.

What do dems offer them? Attacks on their religion? Higher costs of living? Swollen local governments full of useless twats?

Typical "mystification of the masses" explanation. Scratch a Dem and you will get a commie poking through.

And Republicans have delivered what? The same high cost of living, tamping down increases in wages, attacking healthcare with no plan of their own, bloated budgets and sky high deficits..all while swelling the government with the same useless assholes year after year. Example - McConnell, Cornyn, Grassley, Graham, Sasse, Cotton, Ernst, Loeffler, Rand Paul..LOL...and god forbid that jackass hayseed from LA, Kennedy. Perhaps the biggest eyesore in the Senate right now.

whats so great about democratic rule?....i lived for 50 years in california and watched that state go from probably the best place on the planet to live to what it is today....education top 5 to bottom 10....people who worked there all their lives and helped make it what it once was, but cant afford to retire there....something Sacramento should be ashamed of....many inlanders struggling to make ends meet....homeless people in never before seen numbers...uncontrolled illegal immigration....problems that were hardly known 40 years ago....

They've been trained to consider only 1 or 2 things when voting. Guns, god, and abortion. Nothing else is allowed to matter.

What high cost of living? Taxes in the south are far less, and corresponding property, food and other costs are far lower.

Also another hint, if Dems want to do better in the south stop attacking their religion and stop trying to take their guns away.

If it was true that Democratic party control makes for better Government cities like Detroit and Chicago would be paradises.

Republicans have delivered one thing.

J-O-B-S

3.5% unemployment won't be touchable by Biden (unlike little girls, he loves to touch those) for his one term for sure. He might get down to 3.9% but that's only if the republicans keep the senate because that would be a firewall to any of this wild left wing bullshit the left wants to pass.

I know that you guys believe that. Go ahead.

Another walk away from the spineless captain of the board.
If I thought there were something that I could say that might either (a) advance the conversation in an interesting way, or (b) take it in a direction that might make all of this somewhat less disturbing for me, I truly would.

I've just run out of ideas. I just leave you guys to your world.

If blue states are so great, why donyou all flee them and move to red states??
Do us a favor, don’t do us any favors. Stay where you are, live and live your liberal havens, and let us “poor souls” suffer here in the red states. Enjoy your crime, taxes, your highly effective “gun control”, drugs and homeless people shitting on your streets. We will have to make due with low taxes, great business environments, and freedom.

If that was to hard to understand, let me try it this way. Fuck off, and keep your fellow locusts from moving here and voting to fuck the places up.

I love when you and your ilk reference the “shift in demographics”. But when we mention the self professed liberal tactic of importing poor, ignorant, uneducated third worlders who don’t value our American culture and would gladly vote for socialism, you all scream “raaaayyyycccisss!!! Xenophoooooobic!!!”

Why don’t you up and move to one of those socialist paradises filled with whatever race/ethnicity it is you prefer, that you feel is so noble? Surely it will be better than terrible capitalist, constitutionalist America full of all these white folks?
You’re absolutely clowns.

But none of that is true, is it?
Out of the top 20 states with the highest cost of living, only Alaska, Montana & New Hampshire haven't been run by Dems almost exclusively for decades.
Not sure what "tamping down increases in wages" even refers to unless you're talking about minimum wages laws but red states have a much lower cost of living on avg anyway.
Attacking healthcare- I am assuming you mean Obamacare and the individual mandate. Somehow progs believe not forcing people to pay for something they don't want is an attack on healthcare. BTW, the ACA was & is a disaster.
Bloated budgets? Deficits? You've got be kidding me. The top 15 states for fiscal stability only include 3 Dem states in Virginia, Wisconsin & Maryland.
US States With the Most Debt
Nice try dude, sell it fellow progs who believe in made up stuff
