Why? Cite the statutes and Trump’s due process.

According to you, any state can remove Biden.

A formal declaration of Insurrection would be the only way to set the stage for that.

Once that is done, it would be a simple matter to formally and publicly disclose the evidence against Trump.

No indictment nor conviction on a formal charge of Insurrection would be necessary.

Why?

Precedent.

The US Government barred thousands of Confederates from office using the 14th, all without indictments or convictions.

But it has to be done on the Federal level - individual States should not be making such decisions affecting the entire Union.

And it will NOT be done.

The Biden Administration lacks the ball$.

As to any given State barring Biden from the ballot...

Wake me up when Biden and his minions summon, incite and aim an Insurrectionist mob against the United States Congress.

Trump's troubles in this regard are entirely of his own making.
