Death threats against Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem

Yeah, sure, that's what it was... vicious doxxing...

Snap snap, grin grin, wink wink, nudge nudge, say no more...
From everything I've read, the media did not dox her, others did, using publicly available information based on news stories published by the media.

While no one deserves to be abused online and threatened, she pretty much put herself in this position by threatening people in PSAs in which she's claiming that people who entered the country lawfully are "criminals" along with those who entered without permission including those who have committed crimes of violence.

They're two separate categories of being in the U.s. unlawfully and those who overstay their visa have committed a civil violation, not a criminal violation. Therefore, they are NOT criminals although Noem's PSA lumps them all together.

Furthermore, she is impersonating a police office/law enforcement agency which is generally a violation of a criminal code. So she's falsely giving the impression that she's law enforcement presumably to scare people who while they may currently be in violation of our immigration laws, don't deserve to be terrorized because of it and cast in a false light with gang members and drug traffickers, but that's what they did so now she sees that not everyone is going to just roll over and let them intimidate them.

And for those you don't get it, it's not what they're doing that I'm finding fault with it's HOW they're doing it that is problem.

Any of that sound clever in your head?
I go for factual, how it sounds is an aside

See, cosplay = she's not a law enforcement officer. She has no powers of arrest or detention or even to carry a weapon in her role as Secretary of DHS. So she's playing pretend

In today's politic climate, you can't be too careful. We've already seen where people have traveled with the intent of causing harm to people, like justices. We've had 2 attempts on trump. Divulging people's home addresses isnt a good idea. There's so much hate today, someone might decide to get brave.
With 1 to 2 multiple shootings occurring daily now, I don't see it as hate as much as people are giving up.

When you give blanket pardons to J6 thugs, some people will just not give a shit anymore. Trump and his MAGA minions have sown the seeds of distrust, now they’re reaping the harvest.
No
The kinds of people who are attacking ICE are racist Latino Nationalist and far left Anarchists.

The people who have powers and play politics you give a free ride. Then there are the shills in the media/entertainment industries.

We have all sorts of stuff Ukraine could use without raiding museums. Munitions have a limited shelf life and older tanks(not Shermans) are better than anything the Russians have left. Besides, it’s jobs for Americans to replace anything we give them.
We dont have an excess that we will not need for our own soldiers to use

If libs insist on a Hundred Years War in Ukraine supplied by the US you need to raise defense spending

Jul 31, 2025 — A Reuters report in May examined how several judges who ruled against Trump were subjected to threats and harassment along with their families.
So lib logic says that if conservatives did it before that makes death threats against Noem ok now?

Comes with the territory, if the kitchen is too hot, she can get out of it.

Doxxing and Its Origins

Historical Context

  • Doxxing originated in hacker communities, where individuals would expose personal information of rivals.
  • It gained wider attention through platforms like 4Chan and Reddit.

Recent Trends

  • In recent years, some left-wing activists have adopted doxxing as a strategy against conservatives, labeling them as extremists or hate group sympathizers.
  • High-profile events, such as the Charlottesville rally, saw a surge in doxxing, targeting individuals identified in videos or photos.

Doxxing as a Political Tool

Targeting Conservatives

  • Some left-wing activists have used doxxing to publicly shame conservatives, often accusing them of being associated with hate groups.
  • This practice has been criticized for potentially misidentifying individuals and causing harm to those who may not hold extremist views.
It's criminally wrong to doc people, especially when it leads to injury or deaths.
In the case of Judge Kavanaugh, it almost came to an assassination.
In summary, while doxxing has been utilized by various groups, its recent prominence among some left-wing activists highlights a contentious aspect of modern political discourse.
