I caught Kirk almost daily for the last year, year and a half of his life on TV on his daily podcast on RAV News, and I caught at least some of his show most days including the show they broadcast the day he was executed in cold blood in front of his little children promoting peace and communication.
It reminds me of that Reagan nutball Hinkley who thought his way to be famous and get attention and success was to try to kill Ronny.
Kirk was indeed well-read, and I do not apply that lightly--- his depth of knowledge and speed of recall and aptness in response in applying to make a point or win a conversation was championship caliber and just something to watch and admire. He was like if they took and combined Bruce Lee and Michael Jackson into one and made him a preacher. Charlie was electric, perhaps even Cosmic.
He absolutely never called for violence against anyone, and anyone here who would even try to advance so absurd and baseless a claim as a way of trying to deflect away from and justify the senseless, appalling violence done that day and its true loss and pointlessness should be far more than just ashamed, that I doubt I'd even be allowed to say here in plain english if I wanted to.
