Agree with you there, but I doubt it's going to happen. It appears that each state has their own regulations regarding the responsibility of the electoral college voters. Some are mandated to vote for the majority, others are fined if they act up, and some will just be too dammed scared to speak up and cast a vote for another.

Something really--really BIG would have to happen between now and next week, and I don't think they'll be done with this Russian investigation before they vote. It would have to be egregious enough that no one would want Trump in the Oval office. Frankly, I don't think a Trump supporter would give a rats ass, if Trump decided to make Vladamir Putin his chief of staff, they would still vote for him.
