When you combine that with the in-your-face, "elections have consequences", attitude that Democrats took the last time they controlled the government, the people who didn't vote for him have legitimate reason to fear a Biden administration. And then there's the sad fact that our current President is validating conspiracy theories that undermine trust in the system and provoke even more fear and paranoia. With all that, it's no surprise at all that the inauguration would invite passionate protests and potential violence.
