Maybe, but the thug bolted. That's why he got shot. You seem to disregard certain facts that are uncomfortable to you. Like Floyd if the thug complied he would not be room temperature.Yes but she still is guilty of his death and that is an easy involuntary manslaughter
So now you are not only racist but sexist. What kind of shit are they teaching you in Canada? The cop made a mistake because the perp bolted. You could have done the same Mr. 'Arm Chair Cop.'The kid was no good bum but the cop totally screwed up

Easy solution--get rid of the tasers and start shooting criminals again. Atleast they would know they were going to be shot and might be better behaved.
These type of mistakes do happen. Who hasn’t had a brain freeze or moment of absent mindedness where they thought they were doing or holding one thing while doing or holding another. It doesn’t excuse the cop from her dereliction of duty or her negligence, but does make her actions more in line of an accident.
Yes, this doesn't appear to be murder...involuntary manslaughter maybe, but not murderRare, but not unprecedented.
Experts: Taser confusion errors like Daunte Wright shooting are rare but avoidable
When Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, police officer Kim Potter allegedly mistook her service weapon for a stun gun and fatally shot an unarmed Black motorist Sunday, it was at least the 16th such “weapons confusion” incident in the United States since 2001
Taser confusion errors like Daunte Wright shooting rare but avoidable (usatoday.com)
hunting accidents are avoidable too------but they happen. They are not called "MURDER" Gun accidents as a GENERAL CATEGORY ----are kinda
common. Accidental discharge, ----gun falling into
the hands of a child-----and STRAY or even RICOCHETED BULLET. Where there are weapons---there a accidents------for those who do not know---spend some time in a busy hospital emergency room
He had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He had pending violent crimes, a robbery, that bond was revoked because he did not stay in contact with his pre-trial officer, and he also got a new gun charge. They had every reason to stop him and arrest him. That was the problem. The police officer was doing their job arresting him, and frankly didn't have discretion not to arrest them due to the warrant issued. The problem here was that the cops pulled him over for a bullshit reason to start with, and then escalated the situation up to deadly force.
You can maybe excuse the mixup (I don't), but not everything that led up to it.

He didn't want to go back to jail...I get that....but that's what lead to his legal stop and arrest....and his actions on the scene lead to this accident.

Except that's not what he was stopped for. He was stopped for not having a tag on his mom's car, or because his mom had an air freshener hanging off the rear-view.
Clearly, the warrant's squad wasn't looking that hard for him.

You can argue that traffic infractions are stupid all you want, but they are the law. The fact he had the outstanding warrants is why he was arrested.
Or maybe they were, and this was the bases to stop the vehicle to execute the arrest because they knew he was a fugitive and wanted for violent felonies.
Either way, he put into motion the events that lead to his death.
no...it was driving while being a fugitive. Do you think police officers shouldn't be arresting fugitives wanted for violent crimes like robbery?'He was stopped because of a traffic infraction, and it was determined he had these outstanding warrants.

Again, the traffic infraction was "Driving While Black". An all too common occurrence in this country.
If they thought he was actually a dangerous fugitive, they should have called in a lot more backup.

Yes, we should go around having the cops shoot people because they have an air freshener hanging off their windshield....
But let's start doing that to white people, we'll see how fast the outrage grows.
