Dangerous Things We Enjoyed in the 70s-80s

The most dangerous of all, obviously:

1) Throwing dirt clods at wasps' & hornets' nests. (70s & 80s)
2) Riding down a steep, 45%, 200' hill on my mountain bike. (80s)
3) Shooting pellet guns at each other in the nearby riverbed. (70s)
4) Getting drunk at the local biker bar. (80s)
5) Riding skateboards down a steep overpass in the middle of the road. (70s)

I had a very lenient uncle who let his kids smoke marijuana in the house….allowed his 15-year-old daughter to go camping with her boyfriend…..and his 16-year-old son to go to Woodstock.

He drew the line at playing lawn darts, though - unless he or my aunt supervised.
 
BB gun wars. Pick sides, then go out in the woods and shoot at each other.
