Do you ever find yourself looking for things from your youth?

My grandfather had a turn of the century Winchester Model 52 .22 rifle which he claimed won several shooting championships. He let me fire a couple of rounds from it. I was in the Service when he died and the rifle disappeared.

My grandmother gave me her old CB. In those days, it was like getting a computer and internet.

This is going to sound crazy, but I had an early Casio scientific calculator that I have been looking for for years. I now have a collection of ancient Casio calculators, none of which are the one I am thinking of. It is hard for me to know if they are the one I've been looking for until I hold them in my hand. I will know it when I am holding it.

The buttons were nearly flush with the faceplate.

I find it bizarre I have been unable to find it. It must have been an extremely limited edition.

I loved that calculator and the color of the LEDs is still my favorite color to this day. A lot of old calculators had this color which is why I have ended up buying so many near misses.

My kids and my wife think I'm weird that my favorite color is not like other people's It's a light somewhere between 487 and 491 nanometers.

It's not like you can go to the hardware store and mix it.
