Dan Rather, disgraced Godfather of fake news, exposes the left's fear of a fair and balanced media

I see you posted the short version. Well, there is only so much cyberspace.

/—-/ Wrong.
A journalist's role is to gather information, process it into newsworthy content, and disseminate it to the public. They may work in various formats, including print, broadcast, and online media, and are responsible for ensuring accuracy and fairness in their reporting.
Now if they want to express their opinion that’s fine. Do it on the editorial page.
This is the problem with people like you and Bari Weiss.

You don’t understand the purpose of journalism. They’re not just supposed to repeat the bullshit they’re told. They’re supposed to figure out what the truth is.

Dan Rather is far from disgraced, he is a pillar of journalism, who was fooled by Karl Rove, who planted a fake story to stop criticial analysis of George W. Bush's (also fake) National Guard career as a "pilot".

The GOP has a long history of lying, and Rove and company were experts at it. Let's get them Nuke-ya-Lar weapons out of Iraq!
Bush flew the most dangerous aircraft in the airforce at the time. and he flew more hours then required. He volunteered for Vietnam but his plane wasnt used there so he was turned down.

Rather had fake documents that were easily proven fake and he probably knew it.

the left wouldnt know the truth if it was shoved down the gullet.

None of that is true, other than the part about Rather having fake documents, they were faked, and planted, by Karl Rove.

Bush barely flew anything, he barely even knew how to fly. There were pilots from his National Guard unit who said they would know if Bush was flying and they don't remember him. His father, a Senator, knew his son was an idiot and kept him out of the sky, in order to not destroy his political career.

you have absolutely no proof that is true. His records are public knowledge and his commanding officer attested to it all, funny how the enemies of Bush waited until the commanding officer died to make their accusations.

here is the reality for your idiotic comments

It was all pencil whipped, I'm taking the words of the people in that actual National Guard unit, specifically pilots who actually flew aircraft, unlike Bush, who actually did not fly aircraft. His CO saying he did holds no weight, CO's cover for people when they are ordered to.

That's why so many officers are awarded medals when they did nothing to deserve the award.

What exactly are you suggesting I take from Wikipedia that backs up your statements? What am I to read?

Please be more specific.
it shows he FLEW more hours than required and that he inquired about going to Vietnam, it also shows his commanding officer thought highly of him.
