I was thinking more along the lines of Arkansas swamp weed/stink weed or cheap dry seedy Mexican Brown, both burned the throat, and sometimes couldn't get a fly high, but might give a headache as compared to Jamaican, Acapulco Gold, good Columbia or almost any Hawaiian, back in the day. This new generation just wasn't around.

It's because they compared the poor quality Mexican dirt weed we got in the 70's to Amsterdams' Hydro grows. There are several strains that produce of hugh quantities of trichomes, where the THC's and CBD's are found. The THC isn't any stronger.

They live a lifestyle about getting with beautiful women in real life… they don’t need to go on the computer for fake stuff. They are about Working out all the time. Getting a nice car. I would say brother one thing that is interesting is a lot of the marijuana smokers thought when weed was legalized the prices would be great and the product will be amazing. Well the prices are extraordinarily high and often the product is not good and less you pay high money you pay a lot of money to get the high THC products. But that’s just a trap that only benefits the drug dealer and United States government which is making a 22% sales tax on marijuana in a good number of states. That’s why I said that the US government is similar to the mafia they don’t have to do the hard work they just have the smoke shop owners do the hard work and then they get “ their piece”

I was a lifelong marijuana smoker. But for about a year or two after my horrific spinal cord injury I was using the dabbing products. I can tell you it’s a much different product from flower marijuana and frankly everyone who has used the dabbing products will tell you the same thing it’s just much stronger of a product.

For a number of reasons because of my health. And because of the image I want to project I don’t want to be associated with marijuana at all.

Well the dabbing is something that is certainly extremely strong. They get the THC levels up higher than any flower marijuana product from the 1970s until now.

Now another name for what I’m talking about here would be smoking what is known as liquid diamonds. Or live resin. These days a lot of smoke shops offer people vaporizer sticks. There is also something known as marijuana distillate which is effectively a liquid gel that you smoke in a vaporizer. That is also effectively what liquid diamonds and live resin is it’s this liquid type of gel or oil that you see in a vaporizer sticking people smoke it. And it gets people zonked out of their minds.. I never saw this product even back in the 2000s or 2010s

And the younger generation of today they’re not smoking flower marijuana. Buying large they are using what I’m talking about the vaporizer products and they’re also extremely expensive. You got kids getting their parents money spending $50 a day on this stuff or they’re blowing whatever little money they get from the minimum wage job on it.

The danger is these vaporizer sticks are used in movie theaters , at the mall, at the workplace ….they’re used in places where people could never be able to smoke flower marijuana because of the smell and combustion that flower marijuana creates from the tar and the other effects of smoking a bowl or smoking a joint.

I have no experience with these new things you are speaking of, as not available (that I know of) in the legal shops in Colorado. I do know of blond Lebanese hash and the varieties I mentioned in another post, and those would stand up well or better in the Pepsi challenge to the best flower from the legal shops.

I like the legal shops, and the product is uniformly fairly good. I don't mind the tax, as the product quality is reasonably (and I stress reasonably) good, though price far higher than back in the day.

That said, you don't have to worry of getting ripped off or having to demand your money back from some asshole who didn't know who he was Fcking with. Back in the day, you could pretty well tell the difference just sticking your nose in the baggy and looking at the leaf and bud before buying and really good quality was usually available if a connoisseur, and you were willing to pay the difference. In the modern day, legal pot shops pretty well rule out the $15 dollar rip off, and you don't have to worry, you are getting something treated with Paraquat by the government to kill it in the first place (that somebody harvested anyway) and giving in a brownish tinge like mid to low grade Mexican, but could do permanent damage to your lungs. If they legalized it here, I would keep some around the house, just for nights when I might like to indulge. Afterall, I would prefer to be treated like a free man adult, able to make my own choices, as I report to nobody, anymore, but prefer to remain within the law.

Really brother. I was in Colorado maybe five months ago during a cross-country trip ( I was in Las Vegas for about four months playing poker this summer). So I was there at the smoke shops in Colorado(they don’t lie the Rocky Mountains are amazing but I got to give credit to the canyons in Utah which are just as beautiful.)

I was able to get liquid resin and live diamonds at the Colorado smoke shop… and that is affectively the same thing as dabbing it’s just done through a vaporizer stick as opposed to the blow torch method

Well I’m in my mid 30s and in my younger days I was able to get pretty good weed from my friends and the drug dealers I knew. Now not everyone was able to do this. So I get what you’re talking about. And by the way a gentleman such as yourself makes me realize I need to tone it down a bit.

I went through a horrific spinal cord injury and marijuana never worked out for me. It actually made things worse during my recovery process even though I was told by a doctor I will be a good patient for marijuana. Who would’ve ever thought even 10 years ago that doctors and nurse practitioners would be prescribing marijuana. Don’t folks see something wrong with this picture?

And yes I’ve tried every strain I know just as much about marijuana is everyone in this thread I would imagine if not more. I tried at all man it just doesn’t work. About 50% of spinal cord patient report very negative results from the marijuana use. For example with me it will tighten my muscles.. I couldn’t even move when I was smoking weed after my accident… but then when I was off of it I could walk 5 miles. And frankly I tried quitting marijuana before my accident …those five or six days I was off of the weed I felt incredible. It’s a whole new lifestyle

You bring up an important point about the freedom to use marijuana. we can all ask whether we use marijuana or not is …what about the greater good of society. ? You know some people can use crack cocaine and still function ….that’s actually a thing. But what about the greater good for society.?

This is 2023 we live in a much different era than the past. Now you could say it’s good and bad with regard to those differences when we compare the 1970s to the modern era for example… but the bottom line is it’s different. And so this should also play a role in how society looks at marijuana usage.

Remember these days we have social media on steroids. So that’s another thing how will marijuana use any young people and old people coupled with social media affect our country? Now it seems to be the case that young people on Instagram, Tik Tok on Twitter and Facebook far more compared to other people so how will the drug uses affect us. There’s so many more questions we can ask to that relate to marijuana usage and modern day society


If we want a young person or any old person person at any age to be living in optimal life. So they can work out as hard as they want to so they can get a physical fitness is a want to. The point is regardless of somebody’s age if they want to get is healthy and his physically fit as possible can marijuana help him do that. I don’t think that any studies have shown that I can. Studies show us that having a healthy diet walking a lot, drinking a lot of water does help.
