Cuba's newly legalized private businesses are paying their workers many, many times more than what they had been making when they worked for...

That's the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. But these tossers understand nothing at all. They are spoon-fed CIA nonsense and they believe every ounce of it.
Tell us more about the civil rights and civil liberties that the average Cuban enjoys!

Who does the importing in Cuba?

Who decides where resources are to go?

The U.S. or the Cuban regime?
Every economy sector in Cuba is state owned and regulated by the government. But importing to Cuba is quite restricted because no one wants to deal with a 'pariah' nation.

About resources. Read about their health care and their achievements in this field. You will be surprised.

They have more Doctors per head than the US, they have sent Doctors and other medical staff free of charge to many Countries, they also helped to end Apartheid in South Africa by sending armed forces to Angola after the South Africans invaded and gave then a beating on the Battlefield, at the same time as the US UK supported the Apartheid forces, the bottom line is WTF does the Cuban political system have to do with anyone else?

Dude, you can gaslight and lie about the situation all you like.

It sure as hell doesn't change the facts.

The government there is so terrible, folks aren't trying to get in, they are trying to flee.

We all know this, it has nothing to do with. . . "CIA," propaganda.

People vote in two ways, with their pocketbooks and their feet.

The Cuban regime prevents both for a reason. No one will take you seriously if you keep up with such nonsense.

Cuban Refugees and the 1980 Mariel Boatlift

Panelists, including the co-authors of the book Florida and the Mariel Boatlift of 1980: The First Twenty Days, talked about how the state of Florida handled the arrival of over 30,000 Cuban refugees in Key West in less than a month. They also spoke about the so-called “Marielitos,” the first wave of over 120,000 Cuban immigrants in 1980, and the impact they had on the political and social culture in Florida.

People are fleeing Cuba’s economic collapse. Here’s what life is like for those left behind.

I'll believe what actual Cubans say, rather than our CIA or subversives, TYVM.

Where did I say that their government is great? I said that your stupid embargo affects the common people, but leave the elite intact. There are two governments in the world that do their best to make Cuban people suffer - Cuban and American.

I said that your stupid embargo affects the common people, but leave the elite intact.
This is by the choice of the ruling elite in Cuba. I have already proved as much. The Cuban government likewise admits it.

If they did not make that choice? There would be no embargo.

There are two governments in the world that do their best to make Cuban people suffer - Cuban and American.
Agreed. And if the Cuban government did not do what they do, the American one would not do what they do.

. . . I think you are almost there, just about to understand it, but your hatred of the American system prevents you from seeing reality.

Didn't do what? Didn't seize the power or didn’t appropriate the property of American companies or what?

oh. . . . those poor poor Cuban elites.

WTF does the Cuban Government have to do with you? the playbook for Cuba is the same one your Country has used from every Country in South and Central America that won't do as your criminal politician tell them, sometimes it ends in bloodshed such as in Chile where you overthrew the Government, what the hell is the matter with you people?

The problem is i think they do understand it but are ok with it for some reason, if the US had traded on a equal basis with Cuba and lifted the Embargo many Cubans would have respected them more but they are incapable of of it, they have to dictate.

Certainly I can grasp yoar blame shifting and Apologetics.

I think most logical folks can. :113:

This is like an article of faith for you folks.

You are just not entirely honest. And I don't understand why. You pose yourself as some sort of an alternatively thinking person, not following the duopoly narratives, and defend absolutely outdated and senseless American policy toward Cuba. Maybe it is some form of masochism.

and defend absolutely outdated and senseless American policy toward Cuba.
Nope.

I'm defending people, neither the US nor Cuban governments are good.

. . . but that is the difference between you and I. I can be honest about that. . . YOU CAN'T!
