Islam is always treated with respect and never ridiculed by the left even though they openly bash all other religions. The ass-kissing continues. I'm sure many schools won't celebrate Halloween because the Muslims go ******* crazy any time they don't approve of something. Now schools keep up their efforts to push Islam on students. Maybe Muslims would be better liked if they stopped making so many unreasonable demands or maybe they could, for once, not ***** about offensive they find other people's customs. Welcome to the free country where everyone will be offended by something or other because free speech means you don't have to agree with government or anyone else.
The dislike of Islam often stems from their attitude toward others. We are still free to dislike people's actions. Muslims are not the target of violence the way other religions are, yet they complain the loudest because people aren't willing to change their ways to accommodate them. They need to learn to turn the other cheek and stop staying silent on the violence towards Christians and Jews in their home countries. When Christians are being slaughtered daily and all we hear are more complaints from Muslims about our offensive culture, it's hard to even like them. CAIR is nothing but a terrorist organization with way too much influence over Washington right now.
Why is the left so insistent that everyone accept Islam? They bash Christians and Jews all the time, but defend Muslims. Makes no sense. We never see schools or the administration asking people to be more tolerant of all religions. While they say 'all religions', they only mean Islam. Most hate crimes are against Jews and Christians.
This school attempted to have the female students wear hijabs all day to understand how Muslim women are oppressed. They are oppressed, but not by America. It's their own fellow Muslims who oppress them. Islam is their government and they want it that way even when it contradicts laws of other countries.
No Muslim is expected to learn the Ten Commandments or recite prayers from the bible. Can you even imagine the outrage if Muslim students were asked to remove their hijabs to respect non-Muslim women or wear a cross all day. They act like crosses on the walls of Catholic schools burn their eyes as it is. They have never been willing to embrace any other religions and claim theirs is the only valid one. It's always them asking the rest of us to embrace them. I am glad that parents and students have stood up and rejected the attempts to force Islam on them. You don't need to wear a hijab to know that it's a sign of oppression toward women.
Disliking Muslims rejecting your customs is not Islamophobia, as the left would have you believe. Killing Christians, gays, Jews and others for not adhering to sharia law is the problem. Disliking being pushed around is rational. Being Christophobic is the real problem here. It's Christians being slaughtered in alarming numbers while the Muslim refuse to stand up for them.
You'd think celebrating Halloween or failing to have halal food on every menu is worse than the beheadings, burning victims alive or throwing gays of rooftops if you listen to the current narrative on the left. They condemn those who merely reject the notion that we have to bend over for Muslims, but they don't spend time criticizing the senseless killings. They aren't happening here yet, but have happened in other countries that allow Muslims in. It is becoming a problem. We're still in the stage where government is giving special treatment to Muslims and asking us to show more respect for them than we have any other religions.
It's one thing for any religion to speak out against things. Christians have always disliked Halloween and wanted schools to stop celebrating it. It wasn't until Muslims had a problem with it that anything was done. I suspect that the administration favors Muslims to begin with and more and more people are going along simply because they fear what Muslims will do if you don't comply. People just let Christians have it when they disagree with them. The same people treat Muslims with kid gloves and usually go along with their wishes. Is it because they respect them more or are they afraid that people will be killed if they don't go along? I refuse to cowtow to bullies who threaten those who disrespect their religion.
If all Muslims did was express their opinions, they'd be like any other. But, they go sooo much farther. Look at how things are done in Muslim countries and the way we see more of that behavior in the countries they migrate to. Yes, the violence and intolerance is slowly spreading.
