Ted Cruz topped Donald Trump in a new national poll released Wednesday.

The NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll, conducted after Saturday’s GOP debate, found that 28% of Republican primary voters supported Cruz, while 26% supported Trump.

They were followed by Marco Rubio at 17%, John Kasich at 11%, Ben Carson at 10% and Jeb Bush at a lowly 4%.

Dumb? I've heard Cruz called a lot of things but never dumb. He finished top of his class at Harvard and does not even need a teleprompter, something unheard of when giving political speeches.

I've been hearing the same thing. Cruz's ground game is significantly larger and better organized in South Carolina than he was in Iowa

This NBC poll was actually conducted by a PUBLIC RELATIONS FIRM, "Public Opinion Strategies". The same firm that handled all of John McCain's polling in 2008! This is a neocon-rigged poll just as suspected!!!
