I think I may have mislead you and I apologise if that's the case. Jackelope postcards from New Mexico were (still are maybe?) common but that doesn't mean that jackelopes are real. I'm confused they were shown in the video. So they're not real, or some kind of cross breeding thing?
I honestly thought narwhals (from the movie Elf) were some kind of mythological creature until last year.

The jackelope was always considerd a mythical creature, a joke. The video suggests there are abnormalities (as with any living thing) that probably stems from a disfigured skull (of bone) but not a horn or antlers. That's how I understand it anyway.

I honestly thought narwhals (from the movie Elf) were some kind of mythological creature until last year.

I'm sure many people thought the same thing.

I do agree. I am not going to roll it forward to 13:45 to see what you mean but I can assume it's one of the parts that I also wish I had never seen.
