The police have absolutely no obligation to come to the aid of anyone therefore depending on the police to protect you is an act of insanity.

And actual security experts will tell you, like Gavin de Becker, that restraining orders are dangerous because, like the guy in this example, it sets them off....puts them on the final option of murder........
