Because they took the old man and the barrel off?

The name and design was a celebration of old fashioned traditional American culture.

For gods sake it’s still called Cracker Barrel. It’s still country themed in architecture and its menu. Is this all really about some drawing of an old guy sitting by a barrel?

It’s still called Cracker Barrel. That has country connotations. The outside of the store still has a pseudo Green Acres country store vibe.

So they took the pictures off the logo. So what? It was too busy and cluttered that way anyway.

The thought process here is: no old guy= somehow less country= woke? That makes no sense to me.

I really don’t care about the sign. Not very inspiring or creative.

Nothing they can do about the outside of the restaurant. But the inside is being sanitized. All the historic clutter is being removed and the inside looks more like a Dennys than a Cracker Barrel

Around 30 years ago I liked Bill Knapp's restaurants. It went the same route with lower quality food and then out of business. Now I generally avoid all the big chain restaurants. I have a short list of local diners.
