Cracker Barrel Redesign.

For gods sake it’s still called Cracker Barrel. It’s still country themed in architecture and its menu. Is this all really about some drawing of an old guy sitting by a barrel?

But, you don't look to the young woman ceo and go, why did you do such a little thing,

you look to US, the FORMER customer base and ask US questions, when we are just talking about an action that the OTHER side took.

Why is these things always small, only when WE are talking about them, and the other side is never called out on how "small and unimportant" it is, when THEY are making THEIR moves?


I personally, don't care about Crackerbarrel. Personally I never really liked the place.

But I recognize the symbolic nature of this action and that it is aimed at me and mine.

Sure, by itself this is a little thing. As you say.

It is not by itself. It is part of a constant and long running attempt to put down traditional American culture as a BAD THING, to be ashamed of.

• Cracker Barrel’s own website says they believe the so-called core values of PRIDE: People/Exceptionalism, Respect, Integrity, Diversity, and Excellence should guide their decisions year-round. Translation: We will not do anything that does not have the HRC’s approval.

• Cracker Barrel sponsored the Out & Equal LGBTQ Workplace Advocate Conference. Here, the company displayed a workshop bragging about Cracker Barrel’s progress toward supporting LGBTQ+ causes.

The group, Out & Equal LGBTQ, works to push sexual topics and pronouns into the workplace.

• Cracker Barrel was so devoted to the DEI cause that it was awarded Out & Equal’s 2018 top LGBT ERG group award. The company also won the Nashville LGBT Chamber of Commerce “Corporate Diversity” award.

• A Cracker Barrel employee was on the HRC’s business advisory council.

• Cracker Barrel once had pamphlets on how to support LGBTQ+ youth and pamphlets on Coming Out Day. The pamphlets focused on creating “Safe Zones” at work, free from “heterosexist or c-word-gendered comments and actions. Those who said anything activists would describe as “heterosexist” would be re-educated by their LGBT office group.

• Cracker Barrel set up a “diverse supplier program” focused on incorporating DEI into its supplier selection process.

• The company worked with a group called Conexión Américas as part of their DEI efforts. This group actively assists illegal aliens and provides them with attorneys. The executive director also hates President Trump’s deportations.

• Cracker Barrel has promoted the Stonewall riot to employees and on its website. The Stonewall Inn was reportedly owned by the mafia, rife with drug dealing, and served as a site of teen “prostitution” for older men.

• ERG groups at Cracker Barrel corporate office are divided by race and sexual preferences.

all that isn't helping them. adding more idioms to the already swill. I saw a photo with a Halloween costume selling sign above the store as the place will soon be leased out to that each year.

Hard to believe this place is still in business after being forced into public view, all of its hatred towards its employees and customers, especially the gay and black ones........from all the lawsuits they've had for being bigots, prejudiced, and racist.......just like Chick Fil A.

Mt Juliete is a suburb of Nashville TN that is very affluent and wealthy....there is usually no room to get into any restaurant on a Sunday lunch. Or even Saturday Afternoon for that matter....especially near the mall and interstate.

Judging by their financials, their customer base has been dying off for three years straight.

A lot of that has been due to their replacement of foods made on-site to frozen prepared/heat and eat while raising prices.

There is an extremely high end restaurant called French Laundry in northern Cali.

The Company is being punished for attempting to rebrand, but its demographic is declining rapidly as represented by its operating earnings, same store sales and stock performance. In a few years it will be bankrupt.
The French Laundry is Gavin Newsom's favorite restaurant. He kept it open during the covid lockdown.

It appears that people are beginning to fight back. Evidently Cracker barrel was chosen as a company to be infected due to its southern ties.
